The TransTig 800 is the latest in a line of fully digitised TIG DC power sources. This system is lightweight and sturdy. On the fast route to becoming a favourite in the welding industry, the TransTig 800 was designed for those welders who are constantly on the go. This power source promotes a state-of-the-art operational system and distributes the maximum power from a 230 V grid.

Features

  • TAC – With the TAC application, one spot is all that’s needed when two weld pools are in motion. This feature was created to make the weld pools jump together in absolutely no time to generate a single weld pool. This function is also very beneficial for welding light-gauge sheets without the need for filler metal.
  • HF Ignition – This power source was designed to make the welding process a fundamentally easier task. This is proved evident with the HF Ignition tool, the most effortless and safest way to ignite the most dangerous of arcs.
  • Touchdown Ignition - Like the above, the Touchdown Ignition was made to use in principally sensitive application areas. With this feature in play, any chance of electromagnetic interference will and can be avoided which can often occur during the processes like HF Ignition.
