Applications
Used to weld 18/8 stainless steels with service temperatures down to –196°C. The controlled ferrite SMAW electrodes and flux-cored wires are specifically designed for cryogenic service; they are not batch-selected consumables. Applications include pipework and vessels subject to cryogenic service (-196°C) eg LNG.
